This is the third iteration of the installation of “Flowtopia”. It was previously exhibited at Market Art and Design in Bridgehampton, NY and earlier this year at The Urban Outfitter’s Corporate Headquarters at the Philadelphia Navy Yard. With this work I am concerned with the idea of alchemy... the desire to transform metal into a universal elixir.

Through a reductive process I form impressions of naturally occurring patterns and flows of energy seen and felt in daily life. I reference and contrast a diversity of biologic and manufactured form evocative of things as disparate as bee hives, electric circuits, the branching patterns of veins in the human body and the distortions of space/time.

Unifying these through color, line and spatial illusion, I wish to create a composition that excites the eye and mind, but through the nature of flow, elicits a state of harmony and well-being in the viewer.
